A quiet Easter

a quiet easter

This Easter didn’t feel particularly special. I didn’t travel—not like I ever do. I didn’t do much out of the ordinary either, except rest. And that’s not something I’ve been able to say in a long time.

No work. No deadlines. No checking in. No trying to turn the weekend into a productivity hackathon on personal projects. I just slowed down, stayed present, and let the days be what they were.

Sometimes we chase so much momentum that we forget to be present. But presence is the foundation that supports our clarity, energy, and creativity. Without it, we risk running fast in the wrong direction, producing without purpose, and mistaking movement for progress.

This Easter was a reminder that peace doesn’t always come from retreating far. Sometimes, it’s simply allowing yourself to be still, to be human, to be here with a loved one or loved ones.

No breakthroughs. No dramatic reflections. Just rest. And maybe that’s enough.
